PSP a moderate success? It sold nearly 80m units in the face of the most popular handheld. No other non Nintendo handheld ever came close. PSP was definetly a success story in terms of sales.

For a product that was supposed to "kill" Nintendo's handheld business and become the modern day walkman, selling 75 Million hardware units and 280.92 million pieces of software after 8 years is a moderate success. Consider that off of similar hardware sales the XBox 360 and PS3 sold nearly 3 times as much software, and the Wii (which is widely criticized for its poor software performance) sold 4 times as much software.
