Do you want a Pandora App on your home console system?

Why the fuck hasn't Pandora released an app on video game systems?  Pandora is one of the best music apps/programs that I've ever encountered.  I even paid them 35 or whatever dollars to listen to them ad free for a year and have a little app on my PC.   If Pandora wants to succeed I believe they need to put themselves on video game systems with an app (aka Netflix).  Sure you can probably access their site through a browser from your home console but an app would be way better.  Any other Pandora lovers out there?  If so you should add Here Comes the Hotstepper station...

Same type of thing.  European based.

Ah do you have Pandora also in Europe?  I like that you can add stations of either songs or artist.  I have found a few good songs that make amazing channels.

I assume it has something to do with there being no source of revenue for the console companies, so they don't want people using an app on their consoles that gives them no money in return.  Sort of like watching a Nintendo-related Youtube video on Xbox 360 lol.  If they were to charge people the $3 for Pandora One or figure out how to split advertising revenue with the console companies, I'm sure each of the parties would jump at the chance.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

i am amusing they are having trouble due to the ads they play. I dont think hulu for ps3 or 360 has ads. Is there a piad pandora service with no ads? maybe that will eventually brought over. But i dont think sony/ms/nintendo want apps that are driven by ads they they themselves dont run and recieve revenue from.

Hulu+ has ads.

You can pay a one time fee of 35 for a full year of ad free Pandora.  The Pandora website doesn't do that many ads.  Mainly Pandora on smartphone has the most ads.  I liked them so much that I decided to pay them the money (plus I hate ads) for the year.  I'll probably renew my Pandora One subscription this year when it runs out in Feb.

"For a yearly payment of $36 or a monthly payment of $3.99, Pandora listeners can upgrade to a Pandora One account. The benefits of Pandora One are:

• All external advertising removed
• Access to the Pandora One Desktop App, which functions independently of a browser window
• Higher Quality Audio - Listen to Pandora at 192 kbps on the web or in the Desktop App
• Custom skins - Surround the Pandora tuner with a range of designs (on the web)"
