Since I read the Killzone story from their website I always though that the ISA are the bad guys or at least they had it coming.

I think Sony should put Killzone to rest on home consoles, there's some room on the Vita though.

Once i would have liked to have played as the Helghast with the backdrop of the Vektan's being pawns to a corrupt UCN who didn't give a damn about them just the planet ,but with the portrayal of Helgan dissidents with their hands tied behind them and on their knees being executed and the psychopathic tendencies of their leaders what ever sympathy I had waned.
Now if they had made the helghan into a terrible juggernaut whose aspect looking from outside speaks of death and destruction but under it's martial bindings it's core is one built on overcoming adversity and a rigid code of honor , that's a Helghan I would have liked to play but alas we got space Nazis.
To me the best character was the Helghan half-caste spy although why he had to be half-caste  to gain some sort of humanity again speaks of guerrilla's viewing them as just a bunch of Nazi's , now contrast  that with their treatment of Rico , here you have a racist who in game 1 is continually insubordinate and fights with his own team mates a man who lost his first squad in a fire fight before joining you and now uses that as a justification for all is actions. Does he change ? not really game 2 finds him still insubordinate and to put the icing on the cake he not only gets Sev's best mate killed by his reckless actions he then commits a war crime by murdering Visari as I cheer his slide down a slippery slope of his own making what happens . they turn him into a hero and have Sev say shit like I would have done it myself , talk about wanting to puke , we now have a shit head being turned into a hero just because someone at guerrilla thinks he is the epitome of a bad ass dude and someone  us men asspire to be and who women dream , while this happens  the best character in the series  is MIA.

Imagine if Sony marketed anything... yeah, that would be the day. (Don't take it seriously guys.)

Imagine if everyone marketed there games like  Halo -  GT  or  even better COD MW and above , damn  activision should have marketed the first 3 cod games and they to would have sold upwards of 10 mill each because it's all about marketing .

Neither side is particularly "good." There are good guys just following their orders, and the assholes who do sadistic things. I would like to play as the Helghast in a game though because honestly the ISA is worse sometimes.

Fans have been siding with the Helghast for ages. Both sides are corrupt but ISA generally considered the worst of the two by far.

Yes I apologise  but it wasn't aimed at you  since yours reply was tongue in cheek , it's was more aimed at the person you replied to if he was serious , it gets on my nerves when marketing is blamed all the time  , it's a bit like when people say certain games that actually sell well  ,sell crap then justify it by putting them up against the Halo's and GT's  of the world

Marketing does play a role in things, though. But I agree, it isn't everything.
