dont get me wrong, i dont want the game to do bad, but EA are just being unrealstic about its sales. this is not gears of war

PS3 1.22

PC  .26

so almost 3 million

Also I have a hard time trusting VGchartz numbers after the first 20 weeks or so, Unless your halo, I'm sure they really don't track them well.

So I think it can be done.

thats 5 million at full price (60$) and with the console gen ending, software sales declining and tough competition. i dont see it happening, sadly. hopefully im wrong

I think if they couldn't get it or that if they didn't think they could, they wouldn't have spent so much. I'm sure the results from the second edition where the reason they spent so much. They did not meet expectations on first and beat expectations on the 2nd. So lets hope they hit there mark. I will be going to pre-order the $160 edition today. I'm actually about to go there now. Also lets not forget the steam and downloadable sales. Damn I hope it out does expectations. I'm going to post this shit on facebook. LOL C'mon help me out. LOL

Got this on pre order. Loved the first one. It was genuinely scary at times. 2nd one was good but just seemed to have lost a bit of its sparkle. Lets hope the 3rd game kicks ass.

I hope it does at least as well as the second. I think I read somewhere that the game needs to earn $300 million to turn a profit and be considered by EA to be a success. The $160 dev version should help contribute to that.

Downloading the demo now.

Loved the first 2 games. Some of the best of the generation. Both games had a great atmosphere in them. Hopefully the 3rd game keeps the standards high!

I am a little concerned about the co-op, never been a big fan of it. But as long as it doesn't affect the atmosphere and gameplay too much I'll be happy.

Just let you guys know that the Dev Kit is $100 if you order it without the game. I order the $100 Dev Kit when it first announce days ago. Can't wait to get my hand on the Dev Kit, its coming a few day earlier then the game.

I updated with the web page to order and info. Thanks for posting. Been busy all day and actual found out this after I had already went to gamestop. LOL Well I got to take a nice car ride and I went over to best buy and bought the first and second season of Fringe for $50. So not all a waste.
