I'm pretty sure scientology is a front so rich people can exchange secrets and plan ways to make each other successful.

I mean, they're following a relgion about aliens, that just happened to be written by a guy who's entire career was writing about fake aliens doing fake stuff.

It'd be like if JK Rowling startered a "Hogwarts Witchcraft" religion.

Ah, okay. I have no problems with them being punished for their questionable/illegal behavior, but to be banned outright seems wrong to me.

I saw these guys marching in the Toronto Gay Pride Parade. It was hillarious, the whole crowd fell silent because no one knew whether to cheer or boo.

Those guys are awesome. Their leader, not surprisingly, looks completely insane but seems to be enjoying himself.

Given the tenets that the "religion" lives by, it's not surprising that he's having a good time. Really, the guy should be commended for created a religion that so completely caters to the undersexed sci-fi geek.

hehe. Yup. It's actually pretty commendable if you don't think about it. They're based around rejecting religion and embracing science and enjoying all aspects of sexuality. It's all quite nice until you hit the part about learning to clone ourselves so that our Alien creators will come back to earth and share their technology with us.

Scientologists make me sick. Its religion based on how much money you can cough up and a ridiculous e-meter which is basically a stripped down lie detector. It should be banned from the face of the earth and everywhere else sapient beings reside.
