We all know Home is slow and laggy on ps3.  No one wants to play something like that.  It was too ambitious for the old ps3. If the rumours are true about the GDDR5 ram, and PS4 has a small SSD in it,  Home finally might come out of beta, redesigned and completly new. Smooth menus, super fast boot time and load times will make visiting Home so much better.

Actually Sony might even give you the option to boot straight into Home with PS4 bootup, that would be awesome.  What I also hate about Home are the dozens of rooms for each game and occassion, unnecessary, and they need to be downloaded making the experience even slower. The new Home should have a few, bigger standard places like the plaza, with more people in it.

I'm hoping it will go the fuck away and those resources can be allocated to something much better.

How about a very crazy feature called "chat"?

I think the reason its still in beta is because they consider it a never ending expanding universe. I imagine it will be available on the ps4, it seems like easy money to be made from those micro transactions.

Its bringing in enough money for Sony to keep it running, I started Home last week and its filled with people, you'll be surprised how many people are on there.

I believe Nintendo also kinda has the same idea with the WiiU Plaza and Nintendoland.

So you're thinking it'll be canned just to avoid bad reviews? It didn't matter on PS3, it brings in money and thats what matters to a business. Home is a great idea and ps4 will be the perfect platform to relaunch it.
