What if NextXbox isn't $399? If they include the Kinect thing in with the 720 there's no way it will be $399 unless Microsoft want's to take a huge loss on each unit sold

 Microsoft is not that dumb. No parent would buy a $499 gaming console for their kid they'll just go buy a WiiU.

Road maps can change at anytime, also why are people arguing over unconfirmed specs?

Nope and nope. The PS3 had a more successful launch at $100-200 more expensive. I really don't think a $50 difference will do much harm... personally I'm expecting 2 models for 399/449 which will do well regardless of what the competition do, provided that the launch stuff is good (third parties will be, first parties could add some real firepower).


Imagine you're a parent and had to buy a console for your kid, Would you choose the $499 one or the $399 one. That's what went wrong with the ps3's launch

Plenty of people like to speculate about new hardware..it's part of the fun of new systems :) these current info are coming from multiple sources so yeah. 

Road maps can definitely change for sure...but I doubt the ps4 will release any later than Jan-Feb of 2014

Naughty Dog are HUGE now. They did some crazy amounts of hiring. They are actually doing it even now. Just last week we learned they are expanding their work space also

And UC3 DLC are done now...since around APril last year. and that was some bonus DLC

Naughty Gods to have 3 teams? WOW!!

80 people are working on The Last of Us, 40 people on Uncharted 3 DLC............And Uncharted 4 ? Doubt it.

Doubt either company will aim for the parents and kids with this system in it's first year. It's all about the core gamers.

@Turkish: that's PURELY speculation :D but yes a possibility
