The 3ds had no games that ranked in the 90's on the metacritic in 2012, I believe the only had one title that was over 90.

That doesn't matter when it has more good games. 

By games you mean exclusives, correct? Cave Story is sitting at 93.

Stats from metacritic don't consider games with less than 7 reviews for some reason.

Taken from metacritic: Excludes games with fewer than 7 reviews; downloadable map packs are also excluded.

It does matter, It should be noted also that the walking dead on the xbox has 10 reviews and the ps3 version only has 3 so it  didn't make the list where as the 360 version did meaning that the ps3 avg is probably 0.1 or so less than it should be.
