Really looking forward to this, Nocturne was a beast as JRPGs go.

What is the release timeframe for this?

I'm really starting to like this game, do I have to play some previous one?

What system is this on?

2013 :P We don't know much outside of that. I wouldn't be surprised if it released before June though. In NA at least I'd expect late 2013-early 2014 release...hopefully late 2013 though. October would be nice. At least Soul Hackers will release in a few months and there's Etrian Odyssey IV if you want that too as far as Atlus goes.

Yeah i would hope it at least comes out before the end of June.  That will have been an entire year plus 1 month from being formally announced to being released.

No, you're fine with just this one but you should play other games in the series just because they're awesome, like Persona, SMT: Nocturne, SMT: Strange Journey, Digital Devil Saga, Devil Survivor, Devil Summoner (the Raidou games on PS2)...

I own, a DS, a Wii, and a PS3, ... which games are for those?

3DS

We need Megaten games on HD consoles. If Persona 5 is announced for Wii U tomorrow, I'd buy one.

Unless your PS3 is an older model with PS2 backwards compatibility you've got Persona 3 (combines School/Social elements with JRPG turn based combat in dungeons (downloadable from PSN) and 3 DS titles: Devil Survivor 1 and 2 (SRPG/RPG hybrids), and Strange Journey (First Person Dungeon crawler).

Nope, the first slim one. Thanks for the info :)

@ Soriku,

Great screen shots, thanks. That one picture looks like she's wearing the Demonica suit from Strange Journey. Possible tie in?

I'd forgotten about Persona 1 and 2 for PS1. The PS1 versions are probably hard to find and/or expensive. I bought both for my PSP but I could never get into them the way I did with P3 and 4
