There have been several articles out now, saying that many pc manufacturers are disappointed with pc sales, blaming windows 8. Fujitsu is the most adamant and upfront example, while Acer has recently defended Microsoft.
This isn't good news...

care to actually link the articles? I didn't even know fujitsu made personal computers. And if acer is happy whats the problem?
Truth is Windows 8 is touch screen based OS and that is where it is having huge demand.
Now OEMs don't have touch screen devices in much quantity. That is why Microsoft blames OEMs for disappointing results.
On the other hand All OEMs have large stock of non touch screen utlrabooks/dekstops. and they want to sell them off other wise they will be in loss.
Since Win 8 isn't exactly aiming to increase non touch pcs sales from the start.. OEMs blames Windows 8 for decline.
Quite Funny Situation!!! :)
