true, but by the time NSMB came out on DS had a larger install base (i could be wrong) now NSBW2 will probably leg it out, but i dont see that happening for NSMBWU

NSMB was released in DS's week 77 to an install base of 18.3 million. NSMB2 was released in 3DS's week 74 to an install base of 18.4 million.

NSMBU is a completely different case from other New Super games, being the only one released at launch. So we'll see how that works out for it.

Well what do you expect from it.  1.82m people own a WiiU.  out of 1.82m, 1.03m own NSMBU.  That is a great attach ratio.  IT will have legs too as every mario game does.  Don't you think you are talking about this a little too early?

NSMB games are marathoners not sprint runners. By the end of the Wii U NSMBU should be at least at 10millions, and for a 2D platformer is better than many other AAA games.
