Good 3D movies: Transformers Dark of the Moon, Avatar, Prometheus, The Avengers.
In games, the best 3D is in Killzone 3, its better than Uncharted. Super Stardust HD has an amazing 3D too. Resistance 3 is nice too.GT5 is another good option.

i didn't know child of Eden supports 3d and yeah i think i can find it cheap now

tin tin is on sale here for 16 bucks so i'll pick that one up but i am surprised that you said batman is not good in 3d but i have killzone 3 and will try it

I know, the UC3 3D is insane
I recommend keeping an eye on God of War Ascension when it drops in less than 3 months. The GoW Collection had a nice 3D and since Ascension isnt actually patched but made from scratch, im sure itll be stunning!

You forget that the PlayStation 3D display is active 3D. He can get 1080p per eye. Depends on the game of course. He won't get that with Uncharted, but Ico & SoTC both do 1080p. I can imagine passive 3D for lower native resolution games is quite dissapointing. Which do you prefer? I've always found active is better with my eyes, passive just seems too blurry.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Stay away from Assassin's Creed games if you want good 3D. It is only slightly better then youtube's 2D to 3D conversion. It is easy to spot because instead of edges being hard they are rounded.

well i dont have a 3D tv but i just noticed the other day that AC3 does have 3d while reading on the box. thats why i didnt say in my post if they are good or not and just stated they have 3d, because i never knew AC3 had 3d until i bought it, said might as well tell him. even though i apologize for giving bad advice, wasnt my intention
