I'm pretty sure it's only ABC that doesn't understand what's going on here, but I'll explain it anyway

I don't have a role - I'm vanilla. I was hinting at vigilante/cop (could have been either based on my character) to make myself more important and have more sway in decisions. It turns out the mafia wanted to take control of my "power" last night, so they attempted to control me for the night, but it didn't work (because I'm vanilla)

Now you are saying you were a vanilla all along and tried to mislead the mafia, which means you were indeed lying when you posted that your role was linked

Thus, Radish was lying in the first post

I think the line "I was hinting at vigilante/cop (could have been either based on my character)" answers this question - yeah, I was setting up my fakeclaim from my first post

As a townie you shouldn't have needed to fake claim anything. You could have just been an aggressive poster since you have no role to lose. I doubt a recruiter would have said "I'll pick radish because even though there's a tracker, mason, and an alignment confirming role he one posted that he had fabulous secret powers!"

Hmm...I'll agree Radish's original hinting was weird. He's played enough Halo to know that owning a gun isn't unique to a few people meaning that reasoning sucks. Why the need to fakeclaim at all like you say? And why start hinting at it so early if you are town? He had no idea if there was a real cop/vigilante in the game and if there was he would have just been counterclaimed and ended up wasting one of town's lynches when they go after him.

I think there's probably better options to lynch than a vanilla townie, but it's up to you

Are your PMs basic one/flavorless ones or did it include flavor on WHY you were a vanilla. Radish claims that his told him he had left his "high powered sniper rifle" on the ship before it crashed.
