A life without fried chicken is a life not worth living.

It's incredibly difficult to gain all your essential vitamins and nutrients as a vegan and often times they are underweight and malnourished people.

You don't see body builders chomping down on carrots. You need protein. Best source? You guessed it! MEAT!

In the wild, it's survival of the fittest. We're the fittest. The apex predator. Top of the food chain.

At the rate we consume cow and chicken, we're heading for a food epidemic. Best to address the population issue now or start finding a more productive way to process meat.

Dude thanks for posting and its good to find another who cares .

I will be cutting out meat etc from what i eat too. i cant wait to see how much better i feel . maybe i should document it? like i eat meat everyday morning, night you name it (Well i did before watching this video and doing some reading). Im just happy i now know i dont even need it in the first place and the only thing im doing by eating it is feeding my self a bunch of shit pretty much that has other poor animals paying for me to do that.

I can make an equally impressive list of quotes from people considered smart but held wrong beliefs.... the point? just because smart men said something doesn't mean their right.

It's apart of nature to kill other animals, but the way we treat animals is just wrong. My real problem is that most animals are left in filthy, very overcrowded conditions just so we can get cheap, plentiful meat. I think the least we could do is eat less meat, so less animals are needed and all are organic. The fact that we mass produce these animals to meet our needs, isn't great either especially as we already have too many people on this planet. If anything, for a few years, food like meat or fish should be a luxury just so it can replenish in stocks. It's something that's been overdone for years now. Don't get me wrong i love meat and fish, but it's something we should sacrifice for a little while, just so the future generations can have them. Also, some great stuff can be made with just veg, rice and fruit

meat has taken over as the main centerpiece for most of our meals. There is a steak house in milwaukee that serves a 10 pound steak. The point? We do need to eat less meat. A meal should be balanced and meat should be limited for a healthy diet. The OP seems to be under the impression that he needs to completely cut meat out in order to reduce health risk... But the truth is he just needs to limit meat intake and balance it out with fruits and veggies. Funny thing is he will probablly just replace the meat with wheat or soy which is just as bad being over consumed

A cow's fart destroys the ozone. We as humans eat cows so we all don't die. Eating veggies means eating plants which means less oxygen which is necessary for survival.
I eat meat and I save the world :)

You probably think your joking attitude on this topic is somehow endearing - funny; It is the stock-standard response I've come to expect after being a vegetarian for 8 years. My father - a 3rd dan black belt and lawyer - made the same quip at first.

Funny, how predictable human beings are.

Sorry I didn't really mean to insult you but I really found the topic to be rather funny. On a serious note though us humans eating other animals is just a natural balance we have created. Like I said earlier a large cow population could spell doom for the ozone. Every human on Earth eating veggies would also spell doom for our atmosphere. I also really don't associate the natural food chain with animal cruelty.

Like i said watch the video and you will see how it is wrong with facts to back it up. i came here to post the video not to repeat whats being said in it. if you dont want to watch the video please leave the thread.

I don't need to watch the video. It's nothing I havent heard before or don't know. I gave it a shot. The first thing he said was he was there to talk about the oldest and strongest addiction... he ruined his shot.

So you dont crave meat? if so why do you eat it? every protien you can get from milk you can get alot more from eating healtier foods so if not a craving why do you eat meat?.

I also crave sex, social interaction, learning, chocolate, playing video games, ect ect I must be a real addict

Some people just have too much time on their hands, if he grew up hungry as shit then he'll eat whatever he can get his hands on including all the meats! :) I'm also pro-cannibalism if we have nothing left to eat for survival for as long as it's fully cooked. The problem is also if all we eat only plants and don't touch animals, we'd run into another problem which would result in overall lower vegetation on the planet which would fuck our human eco system which would end result in pro-hunting and meat eating lol. I think we have a pretty good balance so far.

You'll also excuse me if I don't care about cows being raped by metal insertions if it gives people jobs and give grown ups something to drink since we don't exactly want to suck on our women's tits after they got a baby in them, goat milk is better than cow milk BTW, we should just go that route in the masses IMO.

Are you people really that poorly informed!?

I CAN LIVE ALL YEAR ROUND on 10 square meters of land!

DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY RESOURCES A SINGLE KG OF STEAK REQUIRES!!?

(I'm screaming because you wouldn't hear me otherwise)

I'm so happy for you that you live at a place where weather conditions or poor harvest doesn't effect you, just because you stopped eating meat, it won't change that humans will still need to develope and expand, and I'm pretty sure nobody herds for charity, animals will still die as we expand into their territories in great numbers, 8 billion and still increasing, moving right along. :)

LOL borwsing the old facebook I found this image which is kind of fitting for this thread.

The only way for ECO to work is to have a "population control" mode, like killing most humans.
