 I need to see "There Will Be Blood" before I can make any very good predictions, but here goes.

 1. Best Picture: No Country for Old Men/There Will be Blood           Atonement could be a contender.

2. Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis - There Will Be Blood but I would like to see Johhny Depp win it.

3.  Actress- No clue haven't seen most of those.

4. Supporting Actor - Javier Bardem - No Country for Old Men

5. Supporting Actress - Cate Blanchette - I'm Not There

6. Director - Ethan and Joel Coen - No Country for Old Men/Paul Thomas Anderson - There Will Be Blood

Any thoughts on what screenplays will win?

I think "Michael Clayton" got a little too much there...it was ok, nothing that great though.

I really hope "No Country for Old Men" wins a couple things.

No Country for Old Men was bloody brilliant and I still need to go see "There Will Be Blood". Daniel Day Lewis + PT Anderson = MegaWin.

Norbit only got one nomination, a clear view of the bias against the black man in America.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I haven't seen many of these movies, but I can't imagine much of anything being better than "No Country for Old Men." I hope that movie gets every single award it's nominated for.



"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

 I know!  Eddie Murphy is really pushing his acting limits by playing more than one character!  I mean how many actors, besides him and John Travolta, have played a fat lady before?  Hell even the legendary Dustin Hoffman played a woman in Tootsie [/end sarcasm] (although Tootsie is a damn good movie as is Dustin Hoffman a damn good actor).

 John Travolta is a piece of shit by the way, I saw Battlefield Earth a month ago and was impressed at how bad it was, in spite of what I had heard before.

 Sounds like No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood are the favorites (and that is how it seems to be everywhere, critics and fans alike).  I do kind of want to see the movie Michael Clayton, but I probably won't get around to it because I don't really like George Clooney very much.
