Nah, PSP isn't dying, its being phased out. Many of those with PSPs will end up buying a Vita at some point. A Monster Hunter is all it takes.
Nintendo is dominating the portable market right now though so this is an uphill battle for Sony.

No, it's dying. Very slowly, but it is. It's not being phased out, I mean they're still releasing special edition PSP models. The One Piece model releasing soon.

The PSP is still being supported well, unlike the Vita.

You're right, it is being phased out, nobody is expecting it to be selling well at the moment. The problem is it is being replaced by the 3DS and not the Vita.
