I will try to listen the video carefully
and try to translate what they say :

title : Lost Odyssey : a Fiasco ?

extract : "I have played 2hours30, and it was 2hours30 of torture"

You can tell he didn't enjoy it. It could be because of his gaming preference, but the only thing that worried me about that video is the loading times they mentioned.

The two things that somewhat impressed him are the fact that they limited grinding away. You can't stay in the same area and level up too high. At a certain point you just stop getting XP and forces you to move on to the next area. He also liked the apprentice setup, how the immortals and mortals link skills.

Meh, I love me some RPG's :P I'll look into it none-the-less, it looked fairly Epic :P and I like that in RPG's.

From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.

I also wanted to say is why do ppl think a game made by Sakaguchi just has to be good? I think he lost his touch after making that movie of his, which was not very good and bombed terribly.

I mean the art style is so ugly!!!

All the chracters are ugly....n then yous see the hotties in FF13....lol

Lol...I actually agree with you.

Lost Odyssey is a MUST BUY for me and easily my most anticipated 360 title, but damn, did they have to make all the girls so damn unattractive--actually, UGLY?  Yes, they are gaming characters, but I enjoy having pretty cartoons to goggle at when I play games.

Final Fantasy is a master at gaming hotties.

How about everyone goes to NeoGAF and read the actual user reviews of the game by critical Japanese gamers?

Fact is, quite a few of them have stated it's one of the best RPGs in years.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

@dragonLord

someone agrees...

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I know I will love this rpg. Since there aren't so many J-rpgs released in EU. I'm thinking of picking up Eternal sonata when it's 30$ or 20€ here in belgium.
Too bad it's releasing on the 29th . That's another month. :(
I hope that it will sell goof because it deserves it IMO.

[

i've seen clips of this game and am very interested, feels like its been a long time since i played an epic rpg (last ff on ps2 was just a huge dissapointment think it was 12, lost count of what ff it should be but i just dnt care anymore).

the battle system reminds me of classic turn based like ff8 or 10. but the main thing about this is that it looks like it has depth and is epic. as for the uglyness in the game i got kelly brooke and gemma atkinson posters to keep me entertained...
