Forums - Nintendo - Replaying Wii Music - you should do it too

I've been playing some Wii Music again lately, and it continues to be an absolute blast! I can't for the life of me understand why people hated this title so much, I would be hard pressed to think of a title that has given me a greater sense of accomplishment since Punch Out on the NES.

For added enjoy, my kids have aged to the point where they can be relied on to lay down a semi acceptable harmony which makes it even sweeter to replay it. The joy of rearranging Twinkle Twikle little star into a grandiose production together is epic! Even Sebastain Tote could not argue that our composition was worth at least 95 points. I'd call for a sequel if I didn't think Wii Music was pretty much perfect as is.

I would consider buying a sequel for Wii U if it featured a much larger library of Nintendo songs.

I would love to see more instruments with even more faithful rendition of the timber. Some of the instruments are great, but there are too many that are not really useful. That said, I find that the song selection and instrument selection are more than ample to do almost anything you could want.

One of my favourite Wii Music memories is when I played 'Wake me up before you go go' rearrenged as a classical piece of my own design. It's amazing what you can do in Wii Music if you find your muse.

They should have included the SNES Mario Paint version as a mode.

i was quite fond of wii music.i think a sequel would be perfect for wii u. the gamepad could allow for writing out your own sheet music. think something like mario paint music. with all the different instruments and the ability to write out sheet music, i believe it would be well worth a purchase.

I've heard other people make the same claim, but I honestly feel that composing your own tune based on the exsisitng library is even more rewarding. I love it! It's difficult though.

I must admit: Mind blown! That could be absolutely brilliant. I fear this feature is above my head, but man that could be sweet!

Also, for anyone getting annoyed by my unchristlike spelling; I am getting a little excited thinking about Wii Music and I appologise.

One of the best products ever made... Incredible how the masses misunderstood the greatness of this incredible masterpiece.

Well with the microphone they could detect what note you're trying to sing and insert it. The only software that does that right now is Melodyne and it's $500+ I think. But it can't be that hard?

I'm so glad games live and die on profitability rather than core reception.
