Digital viewing has overtaken phsyical movie viewing.  Hence why Netflix, Hulu, etc...are on Wii U.

And again, what does most of that have to do with 3rd party developers and their games?  Do you really think they go to their meetings and say, we can't put our game on the Wii U, it can't play DVD movies.

You're contradicting nintendo's own words lol... Nintendo says the wiiu is an entertainment hub, a media center for the living room. Now you're defening it's "tech specs" but claiming it's purely a game machine. Do you see why you're not making sense... (it's funny that you don't see it)

To the point though, you didn't make a single one. Netlfix, which doesn't even have a majorityof new content released for it (movie studios control their own content and release it on bluray/dvd instead of netflix) is your argument that nintendo doesn't need physical format? I never mentioned installing anything into a PS3. Where did you read that? The cheapest PS3 comes with 100GB of space, not 8GB like the wiiu. So why did you mention the PS3? (you tried unsuccessfully to connect those two...didn't work but you tried out of desperation)

What apps on the nintendo eshop? Twitter, facebook, instagram? All those apps people use everyday of their lives? Where are those, what are the statistics for this "pure gaming machine" and it's social networking app & the people who use them? Do you have those stat? Oh you dont lol, ok then. How many people are using facebook and twitter on wiiu? I'm guessing 5.

Nintendo hasn't talked about the card slot, nor would it matter. It's a tiny card slod incapable of doing much... You think regular consumers know or care about the abiliy to transfer a mii? (not that anyone knows whether that will even be possible, nintendo has been quiet on the card slot)

TVii? It's not up and running. As in it's not a reality yet lol. It's something nintendo talks about as part of their MEDIA INTEGRATION STRATEGY. (Just driving home my point, thanks for making it for me lol)

So as of right now wiiu can play wiiu disks and possibly stream some content from netflix. Ok then...oh and 15 multiplat games releasing this year WON'T be making it onto wiiu. Do you wanna try again, maybe for a third time. Make a point?

in what way is the ps3 #1 selling home console? the 360 and wii are highier in life to date and the 360 has been beating it in weekly sales lately and still appears to have a 2 mil lead over the ps3. the 360 and wii have also moved more software in general.  im not sure if you are being serious or not.

the wii was only ment to survive for 5 years like the gamecube. and the fact that it still sold more hardware and software than the other two home consoles still shows it was successful.   on the topic of the ps3, for two years of outselling its compition it still wasnt able to catch up to the 360.  also explain to me how its relevent for you to name 15 games the others are getting but irrelevent for someone else to name 15 games that the wii u is getting. you seem to have a bit of double standard going. the ps3 is not number 1 selling home console because its sharing the market with the 360 and wii, both of which have sold more hardware and software.

if the ps3 is supported long after the 360 and wii are discontinued it could possibly beat the hardware and software sales of both. but until then its not number 1.
