looks like WiiU is not selling as expected?

Which is funny because it is selling as expected.

How do you know?

How do you know it's not?

..because.  you've been back in this thread but conviently ignored my post and bet.  i submit that as positive proof that you don't believe that wiiU is selling as expected.

I'm not a fish...save your bait.

I don't take your bet because I don't bet on data that's barely a week old.   Would you have made a bet that Vita would sell great given it's launch figures?    Because you're making the opposite bet now based on similar launch figures.

lol.   but yes, probably i would have.  it's not like we're betting money.  it's really about boasting rights and that's makes it easy to go out on a limb and make a bet purely on a "gut feeling" that i'm right.

Nintendo is definitely undervalued right now for anyone looking to go in. Yes the wii u is under performing and the 3ds is not doing so hot but even with the company's issues it still not THAT bad. The company owns the most iconic video game character in the world that will always sell boatloads. If Nintendo is really doomed with the console sales it still has the option to bring its games to the mobile platform and generate some serious dough. of course that is the worst case scenario and will likely not happen in the near future since Nintendo doing decent. Still it adds safety to the stock.

Not sure about that.  But I am sure it was grossly overvalued before.

exactly. when it was in the $50+ range it was definitiely overvalued but at $13-14 right now I think it is definitely undervalued.

I suppose that's true but I don't like making a bet on something that can easily go either way making it more about who was lucky rather than who was most insightful.

Just liek with Vita.  It started off great and then, as Runqvist would put it, went into free fall.   I waited almost 2 months before I started putting together my Vita projections.   I'm not about to project Wii U on less than 2 weeks.

May I tell you what I smell? Well, maybe not. Some moderator who loves nintendo would just ban me.

Christ.  What do you think of the Sony share price in recent months then?

Slightly adrift?

Sony's troubles were not unexpected, but I think I might hop onboard at some point.

Wtf. Did not notice this before, ntdoy has gone down 0.62$ or 4.63% in 3 hours. That is freefall.

Down 50% since Kaz made his "leave it with me I have this under control" speech in April.

So half the value of the company wiped off from already record lows.  I do actually think it may have bottomed out now.  I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole though.

Logically if you think that they have hit the rock bottom, you should at least consider to invest since the only way is up. :)

In that case what's the difference between Sony and Nintendo?
