Forums - Gaming - Dark Souls II Improvements?

How could the the best series of this gen (in my opinion) get even better with Dark Souls II?  One thing that I've wanted way back for Demon's Souls was local cooperative multiplayer.  I know it would be hard to implement based on the nature of the series, but I think it could be done.

I don't think it will, different directors on this game right? I heard they wanna make it more accessible.

Ideally it'd go back to the speed, pacing, and frame rate of Demon's Souls.

(I'm not holding my breath.)

Yes I want this. I hope they do add it.

They need to fix the online and get rid of backstabbing other players in pvp.

I heard the director of Demons/Dark Souls is only a supervisor this time.I hope this doesn´t mean bad things :(

OP, making sure the frame rate doesn´t get as bad as it does in the Blighttown area is a good start.

Make it harder. If they make it as easy as Dark Souls then the appeal will not be as great.

yeah this ruins PVP.

They should fix the bodies dragging whenver you walk over them too. And in general better optimization of graphics and physics, so there's not clipping everywhere, make the framerate is more solid (on console), and thus making it not run like crap on PC for how it looks. This will enhance the atmosphere.

Enhance co-op so it doesn't make the game easy, but let you play it with friends if you want and not necessarily just a total stranger. In Dark Soul's/Demon Soul's when you summoned a friend it made a lot fo the boss fights difficulty go way down, way too much imo.

Yeah! The backstabbing was crazy in Dark Souls. The guy is 10 feet in front of you, then WTF, backstabbing animation... Other than that, keep the atmosphere and mainly the difficulty. I am fearing all downgrading in difficulty. It's a no casual club.
