i think the poll speaks for itself, buy ZombiU

both games are completely different, so if you have to choose one now you should definitely get the other later on.

i'm biased, but i'd say if you can only pick one for now then pick ZombiU

I haven't played ZombiU yet but AC3 was a bore overall.

Exploration is fun for a while and the sea battles are quite good, although short. It would have been awesome if you could actually sail the trade routes and track ships down / discover stuff along the way like Windwaker, but no it's just short 5 minutes battles unfortunately. Still the highlight of the game, engaged in a sea battle in bad weather, timing your volleys with the rhythm of the waves.

The missions are extremely restrictive and annoying, stay in the blue area, don't get more then x meters behind, don't get detected for even a microsecond, follow the exact path, kill these first before the path opens up, don't kill that guy, just wait until you can press one button prompt to watch the rest of the cut scene. The rest is very repetitive. At first I was looking forward to getting to NY. Then it was just exactly the same as Boston.

And then there are the Desmond parts, better to be forgotten entirely.

It's not all bad, exploration ocd still kicked in and I finished the whole thing, then traded it in. 6.5/10

I have never ever played an assassins creed game but I can definatly tell you that you should buy zombiu.
