Probably a safe estimate.

I was hoping Wii U would have had better months the last two months and be able to get over 8m this year, but by the looks of it 7m is about max possible.

I wanted to ask you about what your sales expectations are for Japan this holiday (Oct - Dec) as I have no idea how the Japanese will react to the games Nintendo have announced, and I know home consoles sell far far less over the holidays there than Europe and America.

Japan will likely be too involved with 3DS for anything else lol.

Though with PS4 not launching until 2014, Wii U has a good opportunity to pick up.

Wii did about 1.2m and PS3 did about 400k in holidays 2007. I think Wii U's library for Japan this holiday is more impactful than PS3's in 2007, its also cheaper and simply a better fit to the Japanese household than PS3 was so it will outsell PS3's 2007. But WiiU is clearly no Wii.

But my guess based off of holiday 2007, current Wii U sales and how I'd see those games affecting Japan... 600k to 900k in Japan for the three months of Oct/Nov/Dec.

Thanks, I would say then 3m WW should be achieveable for the Q.

Sept 14th data up. Wii U drops again... is this the lull before the storm?

Certainly looks like it going off these latest NA sales.

Well clearly not making 200k let alone 300k.

Will update poll soon.

New poll added and purposefully open ended. This one is going to be interesting. We see a big jump in NA sales with Zelda digital release and price drop/new bundles.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out world wide.

BIG North America bump, looks like it's finally taking off!
