It's such a weak price cut, I just don't know how you can expect 300k 0_o especially as the first 3 weeks will be even lower due to awareness.

Its more than just the price cut.

Its far more games coming out.

Its the logically larger media blitz to accompany those games, Zelda and the new lower price.

Its definitely feesible.

Well I was specifically talking about September.

Me Too.

Price cut (retailers will start early)
Zelda bundle
W101
various other games
and surely Nintendo will pickup advertising in Sept in prep for games/zelda/price cut/etc

Price cut is probably the weakest in history, it isn't technically even a price cut. Zelda hits towards the end of the month in NA only, 101 ... so niche! 5k in Japan right?

What other games are these that are going to push hardware?

The first 3 weeks of September are going to be 60k~ combined, I dunno how you expect such a weak price cut to then shift 140k over the following 1/2 weeks.

I'm basing this on your previous 200k comment, perhaps you only expect 130k~ or so.

You're killing my optimism here and trying to get poll answers with logic. Not right seece. Not right at all.

(btw, just because I ask the question / poll doesn't mean I expect it to happen)

Haha, I'm sorry. Nintendo fans deserve a bit of a break from the doom n all but I don't see September being that month, but hey at least the games are flooding in now which is the main thing!

I voted no.

Sales will be lower than ever before the (minimal) price cut hits and by then it will be to late in the month to make an impact. Also Zelda is NA digial only.

October on the other hand... 200k+ easy, if not put a fork in it.

23.6k in the first week, lol. Great start.

Will it even hit 150k for the month?

I am surprised honestly. I would think that retailers would have stared the price drop earlier since they have to honor 30day price guarantees.

Well looks like Sept will be low again overall unless the final 10days are massive. Guess poll might be obvious soon.

Oct, Nov and Dec are going to need to be big months for Wii U to have any level of "decent" sales for all of 2013. I mean we're barely over 1m for the entire year so far. Pretty bad really.
