After playing the boring beta I had no excitement for the game. I'll stick with Smash Bros Melee for when I want to play a multi game universe mash up fighter.

The Beta was horrible, tons of weird bugs, crappy menus, crappy online stability, and just boring hard to follow gameplay with the 4 characters and 1 stage... and it was just couple of months before final game release. It destroyed any interest I had in the game and for most people I know.

But I still bought the game because I liked that Cross-Buy would get me both PS3 and PSV version of the game and I was looking forward to trying out the single player and local multiplayer. Happy to report that final version of game, single player and local multiplayer (especially 2-player) is very nice. The game does have personality and is fun to play... which the Beta failed to convey at all.

I still have not bothered with online for the game because of how poor my perception of the game's online is based on that Beta.

I found myself in a situation where I just didn't give a flying rat's ass about the game or it's characters, but I do watch some of the live streams on twitch sometimes.

I didn't buy it because I'm not a fighting game fan. I don't own any Super Smash Bros games and the last fighting game I purchased was on Dreamcast. It's not that I don't like fighters, it's just that I've sort of moved on.

Internet Hype aka forum hype means nothing. Sony has a marketing problem.

My PS3 broke, so I couldn't. Even if that didn't happen, I probably wouldn't have. I only tend to buy fighters that I plan to devote a LOT of time to, and PSASBR didn't seem worth all that devotion especially after going hands on.

Plus I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy and was against the game from the moment I saw the first footage. I admit it.

Interesting, I may give it a chance when the game becomes cheap. I don't have a vita to take advantage of cross buy though, but If the game really does differ from the beta I might just have to try it out.

did better then i though. wasn't a flop. will get it soon. some game arn't for everyone. what 18 PS3 exclusives would you want on the WiiU?

No not really. Altoug Jeremy enjoyed it.
