I'm only concerned for Indie gaming and Minecraft really. The big heavy hitters I will play on a console.

Yeah should be more than enough power for indie games :)

Battery life is half that of the Surface RT.

The specs are like that of an ultrabook and so is the price for that matter

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

I think the price is nice considering you get a PC of the size of a tablet. And that you can play PC games through steam on a tablet :)

So a $900 tablet that requires a $120 keyboard to be fully functional. If their intent was to compete in the tablet space with $700 iPads and $400 Android slates they've lost already.

You can build a hell of a PC or buy a really nice laptop for that price so I don't see it selling in that market either.

Exactly who their target market is I am not too sure.

These devices are overpriced!

Sounds about right for the things I want a tablet for and releases just in time for when I need it.

About what I figured.... over $800. ugh, kinda wanted one until that.

Sales analysts and those who want to use Microsoft Smart Glass on the Xbox360.

LOL

I don't think they're going to pay many salaries on that sorry lot.

You know, if this had come in at $400 to $500 I wouldn't be shaking my head. I might actually be tempted to find out what's what. It's just too f'in outrageous to be real. If this had been April 1 I would have just laughed it off.

I may still have to buy one for work as due diligence for my mobile computing strategy for the city but that's only because I wouldn't be paying for it. :D

OMG you're part of the shadowy cabal that buys government IT? Please get them to stop approving XP with IE6 running on massive overpriced HP towers.
