That sounds pretty good but triple the demand shortly after launch probably isn't anything to get too excited about, especially when Windows phones weren't exactly setting the world on fire before. Any less would possibly have been a disappointment. Still, the important part will be if the trend continues after launch excitement has died down and the early adopters have faded somewhat. I'd like to see how the numbers compare after Christmas.

I'm for anything that competes with Apple. Though I care nothing about Windows 8 on PC, the phone version looks pretty nifty. I'll probably check it out when next I'm in the market.

We cant compare WP8 prices with Android.

Here many Android Phones sell for 50e and WP8 Phones are >500e just like Iphone.

That and variety. There are literally 100's more android pones than Windows phones. Comparing Apple to WinPhone is doable though.

Congrats M$. Taking small steps at a time. WP's will be big in the future I think...

It is going strong. At this rate I believe it will completely capture the market at some point.
