Never had any trouble with 360 games, and the Wii U games look fine.

I have a 58" TV and I ALWAYS, yes I repeat ALWAYS have to readjust my TV settings so that PS3 games can look decent on my TV. Whether the games is 1st or 3rd party doesn't matter, PS3 games just look like shit. But I think that's because of the screen size and PS3 game resolution which is normally 720p. Luckily I have a specialy setting for PS3 games on my TV.

Then that's obviously a problem on your end, because almost every single Wii U and 360 game runs at 720p too. I have never run into this problem

Nope, its a problem with PS3. Cause 360 and Wii U games look fine and are ready to run out if the box on larger screen TVs. No settings required like for PS3 games - superiour console my arsse!

That's what I'm saying. It's a problem with your PS3, because almost every single game runs at 720p. I did not require fiddling with any settings. Are you sure you haven't turned the 720p option off on your PS3?

Nope, my PS3 is fine (except for the fact that I last night gave it to my Mom to use as bluray player for her new HDTV, as I don't play much PS3 games that much anymore). The 1080p and 420 options are selected (you would know why). The games just look like crap on biggers screens.

*Sits around all alone playing with his Wii.

*Wife and kid wake up. Must quickly put his Wii away.

*With little effort he gets his child occupied with TV.

*Knowing he has infinished business and an opportunity with the lady of the house, he plays video games.

Come on dude! You totally screwed up the ending to this story!

Obviously right now people are hyped with their new console. They are like a kid with a new toy, and I cant blame them because I will be like that when the PS4 arrives.

So I think that after a few months the users will begin to lower the hype and get more "realistic". Even though I guess it is nice to be able to more things, people in the end will just forget about the gimmick, and just enjoy games.

Years from now, people wont even talk about this anymore.

I disagree somewhat, since the experience is built into the Wii U. Just like you didn't forget about live which is built into the 360 (but unlike Home on PS3 which is a shoddy afterthought) you will similarly not forget about the Wii U's Gamepad experiences.

OK, so I woke up this morning to get an early start on my gaming, because once either my wife or son gets up, which they usually do at the same time, they tend to ‘interrupt’ my gaming experience. So before long they did wake up and did interrupt my bonding session with my Wii U.

My son wanted to watch Netflix, so I quit my Mario U session and started up Toy Story 2 in Netflix and had it running on the TV. Then I proceeded to grab my laptop to go and surf the web L. But then I had an Epiphany, and thought, is it possible to let my son watch Netflix on the Wii U while I turn on my 360 and go play some more Skyrim?

Well, with the Wii U it was all made possible since, I could switch the Netflix viewing from the TV to the Wii U Gamepad. I then switched the audio receiver over to the 360 and then booted up my 360 and played on the TV while my son is oblivious to how awesome the whole experience is. I mean how cool is that, that you can actually be using two separate consoles and experiencing them at the same time? Not only that but then it's possible for my son to quit Netflix and go play Mario U while I'm in the same room playing my 360 and without interrupting my play. I think that is quite awesome.

Nintendo and the Wii U made this possible, and such is one of the many reasons I love my Wii U.

This is a great and really outstanding feature of the WiiU along with Miiverse.

I fear it's a double edged sword though.   A lot of mom's bought Wii to get their kids (and themselves) active and off the couch.   This actually goes the opposite way.  Now you turn off the TV on those kids and tell them to go do something and they just keep on playing.   Wii helped kids lose weight, WiiU helps pack on the pounds!

Dad's will love it.  Mom's.... not so sure.   And Mom's were responsible for a LOT of Wii sales.   Regardless, I too have to give up early to get in any game time before my son/wife wake up, so this is a great feature.

Again...I have never seen that problem myself, so why do you deny it's a problem on your end? It shouldn't be happening, and that's a fact.

So, for example, Resistance 2 & 3 look fine on you TV? What's the screen size of your TV?

This is what I do with my nexus 7 tablet. Netflix on tablet, gaming on 360 or PS3. Not anything new. Watch Netflix on HD TV play game on PC.

Wii U has got fitness, which I'm doesn't involve the Gamepad but uses the Balance Board and Wiimotes:

The only obvious things here is that the PS3 is not the full 1080p, 2K resolution, 2  HDMI Out wonder maching Sony dooped you fanboys into believeing it would be, and the FACT that a 1 year old seemingly 'inferior' 360 always displayed games in a higher resolution - that my friend is what is obvious.

i bought my ps3 because it had a number of games i was interested in...

at the time i didn't even check reports for what its specs would be...

but regardless i've reported you for flaming and it'll be truly interesting to see if the mods decide to act

edit: and its pretty funny but when you think about it your comment is highly ironic given current events
