Do you have any experience with the Elgato Game Capture HD? I have to get something for my son and I have the choices narrowed down to the Haupauge and Elgato. I'm leaning towards the Elgato because it's supposed to be real easy to use but I wouldn't mind hearing some feedback.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I don't know much about that capture card so I looked it up.  The Hauppage HDPVR I bought only has component cables which kind of sucks because I can't us it with my PS3.  The Elgato Game Capture HD looks to be more cost efficent and can do both 360/PS3.  My friend sent me one earlier though that can do PC/360/PS3 if you would like me to find out what it was? I think it was $179.

Nah, you don't have to do that, I was just curious if you had any experience with the Elgato. I'm pretty sure that' sthe one I'm getting anyway. This is for my kid but I'll probably screw around and make a some vids that make me look good, lol. Editing out all of my fail FTW.
