That's according to GamesIndustry.biz, which says an official statement confirming the layoffs is expected to be released shortly.

Established in 1988, Derby, UK-based studio employs hundreds of staff. In the last few years it has focused mainly on Bond games, but it has also been credited on titles in the Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Dead Space and Duke Nukem franchises.

This is too bad. I haven't played 007 Legends, but they made GoldenEye Wii which was by far the best FPS that that system got.

007 Legends got a score of 45/100 from M!Games, a German magazine.

Yeah, I've heard bad things from everyone on that game.  It makes me wonder if they didn't have much time to work on it and had to rush it out the door since GoldenEye was actually pretty good.
