Yeah, its on the second boss Whiptail (yeah I know I'm crap).
Any tips on how to kick her ass. What combos are most effective etc.
I can get her life bar to zero once, but on the second time she just kicks my ass.
It's the boss where you fight her in the water, and she sends waves and speeds through the water at you.

When she launches her waves at you you can block them by going into the ranged stance by holding L1 and pressing either triangle or square depending on which wave she launches. There are two types of waves so just try until you figure out which button corresponds to the attack. Once you get the hang of blocking her waves she's really not that hard.
