iirc they said they have now finalized the move sets and going strong with creating them in the game. They also said kar and emmett will have a lot of unique moves to them. I expect Emmett to surprise some people who aren't really familiar with starhawk...summon da hawk!

Man, I totally suck at this game! came into it acting all cocky because I was boss at Smash Brothers, but I can't land a hit! At first I thought this game fucking sucked, but as it turned out it's not all bad. Just...weird mix of smash brothers and street fighter, is the way I see it.

yep if you come in with expecting it to be like a certain franchise you will have trouble..they have used elements from smash, tekken, sf and dissidia imho and made a unique fighting experience on its own.

Did you try the arcade mode with different characters? because some times certain characters click with you better than others.

I was really hoping they would nerf Sly's LvL 1 down where if he gets hit the Super is canceled (standard to almost everyone else).

Unlike other people complaining about his invisibility, I don't mind it honestly. It balances out the fact Sly can't block

 

Also, my brothers were playing when I was at work one day. The person who was playing with them said they made a commentary with my bros 'unkowingly'. This was like the first day I got it and my brother is a much better Sly.

Anyways, I thought it was cool.

Sadly, there's no spectator mode so you'd have to be a ref in every match and just not get invovled. I really wouldn't mind but problem is that I was hoping all fights in each round would be be underway at once. The stock matches are usually long as is.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has been out for a week and a half, and we’ve already gotten heaps of constructive feedback from the community regarding everything from game balance to the online experience. With that said, we have our first patch going live early next week. Changes include:

A new item, Medusa’s Gaze, has been added to the game
View Invites has been added to the Party Bar Menu
Voice chat icon added to loading screens
AI logic enhancements
Network performance improvements
Issue where players were stuck with a different character than the one picked has been addressed
Issue with matchmaking in regards to player skill has been addressed
Overall improvements to network connectivity
Sackboy changes
Level 1 Super - Increase cost from 100 to 150 AP
Level 2 Super - Increase cost from 325 to 400 AP
Level 3 Super - Increase cost from 600 to 750 AP
Jam Session (Neutral Triangle) - Reduced AP generation from 25 down to 10 AP
Cakeinator (Neutral Circle) - Reduced AP generation from 25 down to 20 AP

dat sackboy nerf....yay

Wait they're making it HARDER for Sackboy to get a level three. Whenever i've played as him, i couldn't get to level 3 if my life depended on it.

Am i missing a trick here?
