Hi, I was having a debate with someone about the 3DS vs DS like-for-like time period sales and he was adamant that the 3DS has sold far less than the DS.

I've seen numerous stories to the contrary - the 3DS has in fact outsold the DS at the same point in their respective release time frames (and has been doing so since 3Qs out of release). Yes this may well be due to the steep early price cut etc. etc.

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a really good summary of this issue. I'm looking for a graph comparing like-for-like time period worldwide sales and overall sales numbers as they stand for the 3DS now vs DS at the same time.

Can anyone oblige?
