I bought the 3DS at launch.
*hangs head in shame*
I should've waited for OOT3D, but I guess Street Fighter was okay for the first month of wait. After that, all I could do was play my DS games, particularly Pokemon Black.

Like everyone else I didn't know it was coming out tomorrow. I remember getting my UC ps3 bundle two years after it released during black friday boy it felt so great and I was probably the only one with a big smile during those god awful lines during black friday. $500 price tag didn't bother me lol.

I have never bought a console at launch as a rule because I wait for a bigger library, but watching the Wii U news makes me feel envious for all the people building memories about how they obtained their console. Though, I guess my Wii story is somewhat memorable. I worked at Best Buy years ago but was in a different store when they announced they had just gotten a drop-shipment in the game dept. I bought one for my husband's birthday... or our Valentines, I can't remember which :/ But anyway, that day we played with my husband's Wii

I bought my PS3 in June 2011. It was (and still is) freaking awesome! I got the bundle with Black Ops, so that was the first game I played. It was also the first time I played a CoD game. Needless to say I got my ass kicked.
