(1) Whether they're been working on this since 2006 or just Yesterday, neither speaks well of Nintendo, considering its a feature they are planning to have available soon. (2) What they've done before is to get VC games and it can be done on the Gamepad, or else why not say it can't be done. And if it can be done, why not at launch, that's all I'm asking. |
(1) You really need to realize that Nintendo is a small company comapred to Sony and MS. Nintendo is just 4,000 people. MS is 94,000. Sony has 160,000 employees. Granted they have various divisions aside from gaming and they don't all work on console development but Nintendo is doing a hell of a lot of stuff with just 4,000 employees. Not having a secondary feature there on day 1 isn't the end of the world. Look at how long it took MS and Sony to implement many of the features they promised. Damn sure didn't have everything ther day 1. In fact, it's extremely rare for any high end product with dozens of features to have absolutely everything there on day 1.
(2) Good question. The most likely answer is a combination of not enough time and not enough people. If you had the capacity for 10 projects in 10 days, whould I be angry with you that you can't squeeze in 12 projects in those 10 days?
