Time to have a proper pray for the Vita over the next few months cos this holiday season is vital for the system. |
I wonder if people felt burned from having bought those "free" games.

It has been for a while now, actually.

so the third of the first? Or the first of the third? It's the first time it's the third year...
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Noone here is doing that. We're just commenting on this dire situation the Vits finds itself in, and one which should be rectified quickly to avoid further loss of ground to its rival and loss of support from its devs.

Now that i've seen the reviews for CoD:Declassified (metacritic of 29 out of 100). I think this whole "wait for the holidays"is a delay of the inevitable. The Vita has already lost the thrid party support for next year. Japanese developers are pretty much lost with the 3DS dominating in Japan, and western ones probably wont care for 100-200k sales, despite what ubi soft wants us to believe.
Buying a Vita this holiday season is comparable to flushing the same ammount of money down the toilet.
I like the system, but Sony didnt care anough, how can anyone else?
I still think they should've sticked to the PSP with a new model. It was popular in Japan, it has comparable power to the 3DS and had a stronger installed base. But alas, Sony thought they needed to make a profit from a new hardware release. Wasnt that a grand idea? Instead they could've kept supporting the PSP for another 2 years and then release the Vita at a more manageable price. It was arrogant of them to think they could suceed where Nintendo couldnt. Its 2 systems ampered by arrogance now... will they learn the 3rd time?

I think that's a touch harsh. It may not make long-term sense, but in the short term at least it provides a fair bit of fun; we shouldn't take that away from it.
It's just what will happen next year which may disappoint some.
Alright... when looking at the future its equivalant to what i said. I'm not sure having about 3 games worthwhile playing justifies such a pricey purchase, but aslong as they know what they are getting themselves into...
