How can you people not see that this game looks very poor?
I'm not basing this off of my general COD hate, but just judging it as a Vita title it does scream bad reviews to me (~70% Meta).

Looks pretty solid. The graphics are about on par with the wii version of modern warfare 3.

How is 70% meta bad? I would be amazed if it gets that high honestly. |
Well, can you list some games that have a 70% Meta or less and are not generally considered as bad games?

Even a game with a 70% meta or less will normally have some reviews that thought it was a great game. It varies from person to person.
For example, reviewers gave Resistance: Burning Skies an understandably hard time but that didn't stop someone like Runa and 10 other reviewers having a good time with it. I'm playing Sims 3 Pets at the moment, 70 metascore, but it's definitely the most fully-featured and enjoyable console Sims game I've played, to me worth much more than 70.
If you're genuinely interested, you could look through metacritic at 70-and-less games for each console and look for ones with good user scores. For example, Nier:
http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/nier
68 metascore, but 8.2 user score, and generally regarded as a decent JRPG. I know the folks over at the JRPG board on reddit absolutely adore this game (I've not played it myself so I cannot vouch for it, but still).
As a side note, Pezus might also have been referring to metascore's effect on sales too. To use the most obvious example, the PSP Call of Duty:
http://www.metacritic.com/game/psp/call-of-duty-roads-to-victory
64 metascore, yet by our estimations went on to sell in excess of 2 million, making it the best-selling handheld Call of Duty to date.
Metascore is definitely a good place to base early research if you're thinking of buying a game, but the over-reliance on it these days for comparisons seems a bit silly. There's no cut-off point where a game's metascore takes it from being enjoyable to being terrible, it depends on the person. Otherwise everyone's top 10 games would be the top 10 scoring games on metacritic and there would be no deviation.
