"We're able to provide a variety of games, for a variety of platforms, at a variety of price levels and business models. Much like Nintendo developed a new marketplace with the Wii, the iPhone and Android devices are also developing new markets for us. Looking strictly at retail, you hear people talk about how difficult the game industry's become, but if you change your point of view, the market for games is still growing worldwide. We have to change our viewpoint to be aware of that."

They may be trying to get a head start  and  create  them a new market in digital , not trying to compete with big 3

I don't think Sega have enough money to compete against the big 3. It will be nice if this is true though.

It says that it will support iTunes and downloadable NES and SNES games.

When was the last time Apple or Nintendo EVER licensed their stuff for a third-party device?

False.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Seems very fake, but if it was true I might buy one.

You have a point with Apple, but NES and SNES games doesn't necessarily mean Nintendo was involved.  We have tons of NES games like Megaman 2 being ported to iOS/Android stuff.
