- Normally, women tend to be incredibly useless.

That's an interesting point and mostly true.  I think manga, however, has proven that females can make excellent lead characters, so the blame for this has to rest elsewhere.

Chris Claremont was probably one of the first to create viable female superhero characters with the X-Men, which remains one of the best series at utilizing them well, but female characters have been a failure in most other regards, though Witchblade and a few others became popular mostly by playing up the cheesecake aspect.   Some very interesting things were done with Batgirl, however, and a few others, and Magik with the X-Men is still one of my favorite characters ever.

My friend made a good point about some female superheros. Its when writers runout of ideas that they create spiderwoman, superwoman and wrost of all she-hulk.

The whole "Superman is too strong argument" is such an uninformed statement and pretty much confirms that someone knows nothing about the character.

Anyway, in my opinion it's Spider-Man. Well, the Spider-Man of the past 30 or so years. That character has literally done everything he possible can and he's now an adult who behaves like a freshman in high school. He's annoying, whiney and has never grown up. I've been saying for years that Marvel needs to kill off Peter Parker and let a new actually interesting character take up the mantel.

... Miles Morales says hi

There's a five part comic series about the death of Peter Parker (Well, it's called Death of Spider-Man, but yeah), although it only takes place in the Ultimate universe, you might want to check it out... basically, Peter Parker is dead, and Miles Morales is the new Spider-Man now, he has a few different powers, and his costume looks pretty cool.

Why read the comic when you can watch it!  It doesn't show any Miles Morales stuff, though.  Still, it's a good video.

Ok, and who's the worst in your opinion?

I felt like they made Spiderman in the new movie look like a complete little girl. I mean at the end he had trouble shooting his webs and needed the help of the crane things. I just can't imagine that Spiderman being in an avengers film. The Tobey Maguire Spiderman was the greatest and I feel like if the new one is in an avengers movie he would get ripped to shreds by the villains.

I can't really say there's a worst. The worst characters always tend to go out of publication. Most of the characters I'd like to mention always end up having a lot of depth and likeability if you read their books. Writers have a lot of time to make their characters deep and compelling. I always end up engaged in their storylines and liking them.

It used to piss me off how much people liked Wolverine but that's about it. He's a cool guy whose been through a lot so I can't hate on him, either. He's a little overrated but that's about it.

captain america, i dont even know what he does or what his power is same with iron man and I couldnt care less

I felt like that made the character even better. After all, he was only a regular (very intelligent) joe.

Noooo Tobey was a much better Spiderman. Spiderman 1 and 2 are one of the best super hero movies ever. the new Spiderman was just "meh" nothing special. Tobey wanted to be in Spiderman 4 but the writer/director wanted him to go back to high school in the movie and he felt that he was too old to portray a high school student. When he backed out, Kirsten Dunst (Mary Jane) left because she said that she didn't want to be in a Spiderman movie without Tobey or James Franco. Then it all just fell apart and they had no choice but to reboot it. Here it Tobey talking about Spiderman 4 before it was cancelled.

Tobey Maguire = Spiderman!
