Forums - Sony - The Best vita game that i have played so far

I bought little big planet vita like a week ago for 30 bucks and didn't expect  to be this good it is even better than uncharted which i thought is a solid game.

i own uncharted, virtua tennis 4, motorstor rc, little devients, mortal combat and lbp vita. I can't believe it i didn't want to buy this game because i thougt it would be exactly like lbp2 on ps3 or even worst but this is the best lbp version out there.

how about you guys have you bought a game that you have low expectation but it turned out to be a great game ? if yes what game?

Glad to hear you enjoyed it :)

To answer your "Low expectations but turned out to be a great game", I'd have to say Infamous. I really wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did.

Keeping it Sony/Vita related, I have to say that I was surprised that Unit 13 was a solid as it was.

The one that springs to mind is Killzone.

I had seen some very mediocre reviews for it, so I was scared off. But when I saw the glowing reviews Killzone 2 was getting, I knew I would need to play the first game before moving on to the second. So I rented it from GameFly (back when I had a GameFly account). And I loved it. Another reason not to put too much stock in aggregate scores :)

Are we allowed to talk about games from all consoles? If so, I'm going to toss World of Keflings out there. I don't even know how I wound up getting that game but my family STILL plays that one all of the time. I think I've had it for years and we somehow wound up playing it for hours last Saturday. Game looks like butt but don't let looks deceive you.

yes you can the reason i posted in sony section was because of the topic , the topic is about best vita game i played but yeah i wanna know which game surprised you from all consoles.

Mass Effect 2. Back before I was educated on everything gaming I remember looking at metacritic and seeing mass effect 2 was higher than Uncharted 2. I was like this can't be true, reviewers must love it cause it's on xbox. So I went down to the basement and popped it in (I own every game, ever) and after a week I came back upstairs thinking "that was really good!"

LBP PS Vita is amazing. Shorter main story than the others but that has always been the shortest portion of the game. The community is still there and amazing. The new control schemes open up a lot of new concepts. And everything runs and operates how it should along with graphics that look stunning. The LBP to get, hands down.

Uncharted Golden Abyss was also very good. Using the gyros to aim was entertaining. The story and acting was well done. The treasure system was an interesting switch up. The only big downside was the use of the touch screen swiping. Like with the machete on bamboo. Instead of having to make three separate swipes then watch the cutting, it should have stuck with the one zig zag swipe action with cutting right after. That was fluid, but they only did it twice. I enjoyed how most of the Vita controls were optional, like climbing a rope with the back touch or just with the analog. Definitely an Uncharted worth getting your hands on and no worries about the order you play it in. It is a prequel to Uncharted 1 and there aren't any spoiler type info or info you need to know from Uncharted 1-3 to understand. It stands on its own.

Mortal Kombat was also very good. Sure it suffered graphically during in game graphics (mostly during close ups) but everything played excellent. Same as the console version except you have all the DLC, including Kratos, and a Vita exclusive challenge tower (50% more challenges). That and Vita control options that work well. I played that game non stop when I bought it. I just wish I wasn't living on the other side of the country as everyone I know so I could get them with a Vita and do some ad hoc.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes. I bought it on a whim during a PSN sale because I was bored and liked the art style. Ended up totally loving the game and I wish the series would continue. It pairs an entertaining, RPG style story with tactical, chess-like play. The way different characters had their own unique attributes changed things up enough to keep the game-play fun through-out. It was a purchase I was very, very happy with, and for $10 or so, it was more enjoyable than a lot of games that release at $60.

Oh, and Audiosurf. $2.50 on a Steam Christmas sale. One of my favorite games this generation. It's funny, and I don't mean this as a slight toward Nintendo at all, but it dominated my house during our annual family gathering, even though my niece got a Wii that year. Even she spent more time on Audiosurf (other than designing Miis, which seemed to be her favorite part). Everyone flocked to my PC to wait for their turn. Audiosurf is one of those games everyone should own.

^This I saw the trailer to this game and though it was bland and generic, but when I brought the game day one (because I was impatient for prototype ). And while that game disappointed and frustrated the hell out of me. Infamous blown my mind and it was awesome plus that game has the honour of my first platinum.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont
