Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Abortion and Stem Cell Research are Bad

Its true that eggs have the potential to become human, but they haven't yet become fertilized. And as to the unable to feel pain comment, there is a medical condition described as "congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis". Should we kill them all?
And considering the point of sex results in a potential human birth, then fetuses are in and of themselves potential humans.

But people who are unable to feel pain still have cognitive function. I personally believe that it would probably be better to euthanise somebody without any form of cognitive function or pain reception than to allow them to live, yes. However most people without either of those die anyway.

And sex is for pleasure as well as for reproduction, in fact in the modern world sex is more for pleasure than it is for reproduction. Its the way the world is these days.

Edit: @second post.

I'm fairly sure your views are based on religious grounds as there certainly is little other grounds for your opinions. The stem cells used are from fetuses that would never even possibly have a chance at becoming a human and they have the potential to save the lives of actual thinking and living human beings. There is no moral grounds whatsoever for banning their use or research as they will save more suffering than they ever could possibly cause.
