Whoever gets this game is going to get it for its gameplay, not for its visuals. Saying that though, when has Halo ever been about breath taking graphics? I don't think it ever has. To be honest I dont think any other game has gameplay like Halo. Very odd when you think about it because it is a really popular franchise. You would think it would have a million clones.

That doesnt mean its acceptable that Bungie was lazy.

A game with great gameplay deserves great graphics. And Halo 4 finally gives Halo that justice this generation. 343i have done incredible things.

dissappointed.... where are the good old selnor "Graphic King" threads? You used to hype stuff up much better...

Looking good. Really loving all new weapon, armor and environmental designs. Compare the rocks of Halo 3 with these rocks (this is especially visible when comparing the Valhalla levels) and you will see extreme improvements. Makes it look like comparing two different generations, really.

I must say I'm not a big fan of all new sound effects though. Kind of missing the old ones :P But I guess I won't really care once I get my hands on a copy and will get used to the new stuff pretty fast.
