Elfen Lied and Samurai Seven....good call man I forgot about those.

@kingofwale: what kinda anime do you like (robots, comedy, romance, sword fighting, crazy sci fi wierdness)

based on your liking of Ranma 1/2 I would suggest Fruits Basket. It's a really cute romantic comedy type anime that has some people changing into animals (hence the connection to Ranma in my head). Only 26 episodes and you can just stream them if you want, or buy....that's cool too.

Fruits Basket is painful to watch. I think Toru was on crack throughout that entire show to maintain her constant cheerful attitude/optimism. The entire world could be imploding and she'd still find something to smile and be happy about. It was downright creepy.

2 creepy stars out of 5.

Around the Network

If you want to enjoy One Piece, first off, don't take it too seriously, second of all, but far more importantly, do NOT USE ENGLISH VOICE ACTING!!!

Japanese with subs and you'll be fine. I think veoh.com has a lot of the episodes, at the very least the more recent ones.

I like One Piece a lot better than Naruto, mainly because where Naruto gives off a "nobody understands me, I'm so messed up, blargh!" where Naruto is going to be the Hokage, Luffy is going to be the Pirate King, only real difference is One Piece doesn't have all the angst.

Personally I stick to the manga. Onemanga.com has up to around 480+ chapters of the thing. In some ways, it's not nearly as tense to read, simply because at this point, there's really no doubt that the good guys will always win, but it's still fun to watch them win.

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!
