Never got into 1 piece, and after DBZ (which I liked as a young teenager) shows like Naruto just drive me nuts (10 episodes of nothing happening, 20 minutes of trash talking then somebody throws a punch, wait til next episode to see if it hits! Style of long drawn out anime)
Samurai Champloo was the most recent Anime I really liked, and it was supremely awesome (though I just started watching Ah! My Goddess with my wife and I'm liking it).

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

my wife loves Naruto, we use to watch 2 episodes every night, but we enter the 150 episodes, and they were remembering everything ans talking too much, we are watching Samurai 7 now.
Elfen Lied FTW

I have been watching the series and I think is really good, better than DBZ. I'm on the episode 325 by the way.
and i agree with you ssj12, the US versión of the anime and animes in general, especially the ones that cartoon network transmit, have really bad voices and are terribly censored.
My definition of fanboy: An idiot that misses 2/3 of the fun.
I'm not going to start compairing series, but I agree that the new voices are a bit annoying, if only because I was so used to the other ones.
That said, I still recommend Japanese with subtitles. Not that the American ones are bad, anime in general, but that the originals are much better.
@ssj12
The sasuke vs naruto fight was pretty good, and I have been watching shipuuden and All dbz episodes on a stie I know of.

I love Naruto and InuYasha to death.
Ssj12, did you not notice that 4Kids! Entertainment lost the dubbing rights to One Piece? Funimation (sp? lol) now dubs it. Same with Pokemon; 4Kids! lost the rights for that too, so The Pokemon Company and TAJ dubs it themselves. Plus, One Piece sucked balls with 4Kids! dubbing it. Every line the character made had to be a dumb joke or a pun, and they weren't funny at all. And they also made Sanji's cigarette into a LOLLIPOP. Now Funimation took out the cigarette/lollipop. It's actually more serious. Same with Pokemon. Pokemon had stupid puns in it before, now there are less lol And they actually explained stuff that's in-game information, like attacks, attack strategies, elemental types and such.

you can feel the music better on the originals. The translations to spanish are even worse, you miss all the background music and the signs are rarely translated.
