Forums - Gaming - Assassin's Creed III reviews in - no GOTY material here

il be picking this up regardless and depending on the price could be day 1. All the others have been around £32.99 and i won't be paying £40 now!
I'm happy the PS3 version is the superior tbh. can't wait for AC3:Liberation too when i have more money!

Of course the graphics will be amazing. This is Assassin's Creed.

I never really thought AC graphics where amazing. I mean considering the budget they have the graphics in AC II and Revelations where rather mediocre.

Well tell me an open world game that looks clearly better then. The scenes that are rendered in AC are huge and they look great from every angle, even from the top of a 300 foot cathedral!

The landscape views in Red Dead Redemption looked better imo.

I agree, Red Dead had amazing graphics too.

I got my copy of OPM UK in the post this morning and they didn't have a review for it, there was an embargo on it, which is disappointing. Still, really looking forward to this. Will have to wait until Christmas to play it!

Got AC: Liberations to tide me over, though.

Gonna wait for the price drop on this one.

Gametrailers will give it a 9.5-9.7, mark my words.

Shane is reviewing it, and the guy is nothing but praise for the game since forever on invisible walls.

blahhhhhhhhhhhh shane is reviewing this? one less review to be in consideration ...

Well, nice things about GT is they have Invisible Walls - so there will be lot of discussion between 4 of them (hope Bloodworth will be one of them) about the game next episode, no matter what Shane gives as a final score. Just recall that episode when they were talking about RE6, at one point I thought he and Marcus will go after each other throat. ;)

Your username already told us that. But why are you happy for that? :S

Not sure that's the case anyway just yet.

AC3, overhyped imo. How come it's suddenly the hip thing to love everything AC?

Assassin's Creed games really don't look all that great.  Good but not great, and if we are talking about consoles then I'd say Red Dead Redemption beats it.  If we are including PC then pretty much everyting.  Ubisoft sucks on PC

That pic on the first page looks horrible.....consoles are really starting to show their age. Wasn't AC 3 using a new engine?
