Do you think that Assassins Creed 3 is anti-British or historically inaccurate?
I see more and more British people on YouTube bashing on Assassins Creed 3 and giving it a low score. They claim that the game is inacurate and hateful.
Here is one example, video below.

The truth of the matter is, the United States would not have existed if the British gave into our demands. The American colonists didn't want to cede from the British Empire, but the King wasn't going to give into colonists demands. The Brits were using the colonies (the American colonies) to fund their war with France, and in the process making the colonies pay more for that effort than the British were.
Oddly enough, though France sided with the US, it ended up costing them the most. Louis XVI was overthrown, Napolean threw France into a European warn, and France ended up losing all it's New World interests, including Quebec, and the Northwest Territory. Where as for Great Britain, it ended up being beneficial. Well, once we got past 1815 and the end of the War of 1812.
But any Brits who are offended really should ask Quebecies, Americans, and Native Americans if they're offended at all by the British and everything they did during the colonial period up to the end of the War of 1812. How many people died in the name of British Empirical expansion?

Quebec was lost back at the end of the Seven Years' War, or French and Indian War. It was British debt from the French and Indian part of the Seven Years' War, debt that the British tried to pass off on the colonies (thinking that, hey, we spent this money mostly to defend you guys, you should pay for it, which does, on its face, sound fair), the rather unfair ways in which they tried to impose these taxes then inflaming America, giving France their chance to bite back, overextending themselves and bringing down their monarchy
Though you're largely correct.
I'm thinking that could be a sore point with the British only because we Americans tend to play up how mean the British were in the runup to and during the Revolutionary war, although at the same time the British also like to think they are nicer than they were in throughout their global colonial adventures (like getting the Chinese hooked on Opium to destroy their balance of trade...)
