Forums - Sony - New PS3 bundle coming to stores now, may be $199 on Black Friday

The actual games bundled wit it make for awkward choices, no one cares for these old games. The only pre 2012 games that are still relavent and in demand are GT5 and Uncharted 3.

I say they should have done GT5, Uncharted 3 and Assassins Creed 3

That is pretty much what I said a few pages back! Though you should throw in the free Vita.

It really was a needless comment Kowen. Not everything is a competition and no this thread is not about that

anywho ot: gotta recommend this bundle to some of my coworkers who were thinking of getting a ps3 ..they asked me last week and I told them to wait for black friday for the best deals and looks like they are gonna be very happy.

those games cost ~55 at retail so the console itself would be like $145 for people who want these games. what were last years bundle offer for black friday?

Don't see how anything has much of a chance against a 360 plus halo and/or COD in the states this holiday tbh.

And what is the point of your comment? Clearly Sony is selling a BF bundle with lots of software that is fully paid for. It doesn't cost Sony more than $1-2 to add this particular software because the accounting has been done. Quite the opposite to Halo4 which has to _actually_ sell to recoup its costs. So in effect, MS might lose quite a stack of $ with BF bundling brand-new software(, while Sony can't afford to do likewise,m anyway).

edit. Apparently Leo thinks this is off topic. It's about as on topic as you can be. It's a discussion about how a bundle can perform on Black Friday.  The opposition needs to be considered.

Why does the first answer to a new (and good) PS3 bundle must be like this?

This doesn't contribute to the discussion. It doesn't discuss the bundle, the games or the price.

It just says: Tiz zukz, Xbox gonna sell Better!!!11!

And you say it's about as on topic as it can be... Come on!!!! You know better than that

Pretty lame bundle if you ask me. But hey it does offer lots of value and at $199 it is a steal.

That's an amazing bundle tbh

I know right? Xbox will sell better on Black Friday no matter what Sony does so it really is a pointless comment.
