Forums - Sony - Namco chooses Vita for New Tales of remake

Wasted opportunity imho but then they are the same guys not bringing Tales of Graces Wii to the EU/NA even tho they would just have to use the translated PS3 text (their excuse is the cost of translation LOL)

And the same guys that sold tales of the abyss 3ds in europe in ENGLISH ONLY!!! More languages = more customers. Sure its a niche genre and most people would buy it no matter if its english only or not but they still eliminate alot of potential sales even if it would only be like 10% or so.

When people are used to games being translated some tend to ignore games without translation (games with alot of text) . If all games would have no translation to begin with then it wouldnt matter that much.

p.s. they also brought Tales of Symphonia 2 to Europe but not the PS2 Abyss etc.

As a DS, 3DS, Wii, 360, and PS3 owner, I am jealous.

As far as I know, the original version of these tales of games are DS games, so if they decide to make a new version extended it's not really surprising to make it on another system from another company.
Kind of like Tales of Graces, originally for Wii and then was ported (and enhanced) to PS3

^Yep, pretty much this. It's actually common sense really, what's the point of putting the remake on the 3DS when you can already play the original ones on it? They've already tested the DS crowd with this game, now it's time to try something different.
