Playstation Home icon is on my XMB(even though I didn't download it). Do you see me complaining about it? No. It only takes 1 click on the D-pad to go past it.

Okay, you focused on one part of what I typed. I also said that it would be counter-productive and then to scratch the idea.

However, What's New still takes too long to load up.

I am still bitter over the "newstand" icon Apple has forced into my iPhone with iOS5, i can't uninstall it, i can't drag it inside a folder and man does it suck!

i have to agree with the OP... that icon could still be always in the game section and be less annoying and less obstructive. let the icon have the other icon behavior (minus the option to put in folder) and will always be on the game section and will be a lot less obstructive.

i'm not really bothered about the singstar app but i guess if you don't want it,you should be able to delete it
