Forums - Sony - VITA has virtually ZERO Exclusive Third Party games announced for next year!

I think you are overestimating exclusives. PSV can start rebuilding it's track based on shared releases with PSP, ports, and spin-offs. Yes, it's not the ideal way, and it could mean a slow recovery, but it's probably the only possibility PSV has.

OT: I thought Soul Sacrifice was 3rd party. Oh well.

It is amazing how much PlayStation haters sound so much like American Republicans...full of bull points that don't mean anything.

Sony is focusing on the holidays of 2012. Once it is done there will be more games announced. Don't worry non-PlayStation gaming faithful. Not like you were going to give the games a chance anyways.

yet you're the guy craving for Vita games in COMG every single week - or is it day?

I think something is wrong, if you don't, well, don't complain anymore then.

This is not a vita has no games thread - in fact, outside Vita fans jesting, hardly anyone says this (try to notice). In fact, I think Vita has a very strong library so far - Persona, just releasing soon is one of the best RPGs I played, and I can compliment many other games. But if you can't take a sales and basically a potential problem for vita's support in any other way than personal, then don't post in this thread.

It's made by Mavelous and directed by Keiji Inafume, but it's first party - Sony's IP, and simply the best thing Sony is making for the Vita, imo. But just one new IP (especially missing the critical holiday for Vita) can be a huge risk.

And I don't see a recovery following the same scenario you're discribing. Why? BEcause Vita reached a new low... in october. That's not recovery, that's falling. The same way it'll fall and have a second holiday worst than the first.

I'm the guy who looks forward to games getting their rightful spot in front of people. The Vita in Japan is lacking, however that is an across the board issue. Don't sit there and act like it is just the Vita in Japan that has a weak line-up THIS HOLIDAY.

Games are coming. And bottlenecking it to third party exclusive Vita games is moving the goal posts to fit what you want them to fit. How many games get released on the PS Vita's PlayStation Store every week?

PlayStation Mobile recently launched, how many games launched with it?

There is a lull right now for the Vita, IN JAPAN. However, it does have a strong North American and European holiday line-up. There are several unnannounced projects that companies have talked about are in the works. However, they are looking to see how the system does this holiday on whether to push forward with them or move them over to a different platform or go multiplatform.

2013 does have quality games coming for the Vita. The majority of the people like you just want to move the goal posts further away to make yourself feel happy.

Most the things you're saying is based on personal especulation ("there will be this, there'll be that" "devs are waiting", etc...)

I showed what is. You're just saying what can be. it's different. And, falling as a victim of your own accusation, as you're the one taking it personally. And since you admit Japan has a problem... well, I agree. And a problem in japan for portables is the worst of them.

Not only that, isn't the game releasing about the same time as Monster Hunter 4?

Anyways, look, it will probably go even below in Japan, the 'post-holidays' weeks will be very rough for PSV. But it will eventually reach a level. Let's assume it's 5k, but it can easily grow to 8k~9k with more PSP/PSV releases. With eventual bumps from important games (Soul Sacrifice, there will definitely be more), and a price cut, it may crawl to a decent number enough to guarantee the expected titles like Monster Hunter Portable.

Lol at the "there are unnannounced games".

You didn't answer any of my questions to you.

I think you're putting too many importance in those games (AGAIN - this is not a Vita has no games thread - I'm not questioning numbers or quality). I'm questioning the lack of future system definitive games from third parties (or system sellers, exclusives, killer-apps, whatever you want to call them). They are important, very important - especially for Playstation consoles that depend on them, and also especially for portables - as multiplats are not exactly common in this market the same way as the HD consoles.

Your tone and attitude starting from the OP itself shows yours intentions Vic so don't act so clueless. Vita line up is great. Ffs I won't be able to buy all the games I need this year even.

Let's forget about the first party games, though it's pretty fantastic.

Why the hell do you want to know about 3rd party exclusives for NEXT year? We still have around 2 months+ left this year. Most of the 3rd party games released this year were announced/revealed THIS year. Also we know titles like Soul Sacrifice, Picotto knights and EDF etc are coming.

Seriously this is just pathetic. Where is your concerned threads about western support for 3ds? you know what forget that...where are your threads on the currently released or about to be released vita titles?

Seriously, I hate this pretend to be genuinely concerned but fuck all we all know what this is all about acts. Get real and be frank for a change. Do you even own a vita? smh
